sine_column_sum

mdcraft.analysis.structure.sine_column_sum(xs: ndarray[float]) → None

Evaluates the column-wise sum of the sines of the elements in a two-dimensional NumPy array \(\mathbf{x}\).

\[\sum_{i=1}^N\sin(x_{ij})\]

Parameters:

xsnp.ndarray

Matrix \(\mathbf{x}\).

Shape: \((M,\,N)\).

Returns:

snp.ndarray

Column-wise sums of the sines of the elements in the matrix \(\mathbf{x}\).

Shape: \((M,)\).
